Senior Networking Consultant
Fultura is a group of consultants who support a wide variety of clients in Networking, Security, Virtualisation, Private Cloud hosting, and IT support.
We have a vacancy for a Senior Networking Consultant in our Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Guernsey.
This would be supporting our clients based across the Channel Islands and the UK.
About the Role
The Senior Networking Consultant will be responsible for providing high level technical support to customers, design and maintenance of Network Infrastructures and mentoring our NOC engineers as they develop their skills.
Whilst this is primarily a technical support role the successful candidate will be expected to liaise with Vendors and ensure that Fultura remain at the forefront of the Cyber Security and services arena.
At times you will visiting our clients on site, or helping to resolve client incidents, carry out infrastructure installs or to assist and advise for client IT projects.
You will also be overseeing our Consultants in technical builds as a mentor and be involved in the design and installation of a wide variety of hardware, security application and services projects.
Some business travel (CI/UK) will also be required.
What are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate would be a person with 7+ years of IT experience, in a Senior Network/Infrastructure support role.
You will need a good knowledge of Network Infrastructure and troubleshooting and Check Point Firewalls and be experienced in the support and operation of Windows Server Infrastructures and Active Directory.
We need someone who is:

· Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Approachable, with great customer service skills
· Able to communicate with all levels of client from Users to Directors
· A good communicator both verbally and written
· Passionate about service delivery
· Able to understand and implement technical solutions to complex issues
A candidate that holds or is looking to attain the following professional IT qualifications or has equivalent experience would be preferred.
Check Point – Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
Cisco – Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP)
Good Experience of Microsoft Windows Infrastructure and Azure. Good knowledge of wireless concepts preferably with both Cisco and Ubiquiti Networks

Trainee IT Engineer
Fultura is a team of consultants who support a wide variety of clients in Networking, Security, Virtualisation, Private Cloud hosting, and general IT support. We are currently looking for an IT Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
We require a Junior IT Engineer to be the first point of contact for our clients. You will handle 1st and 2nd Line support requests; log calls in our Service Desk system and be actively involved from initial call logging all the way through to call resolution. You will work on the calls and incidents and provide technical resource to assist resolution.
Excellent customer service and communication is crucial.
Where required, you will escalate incidents to our 3rd Line Consultants.
You will be helping to undertake customer enquiries, project-based work and providing technical resolutions. As well as assisting in the running of our Guernsey Network Operations Centre.
Our Consultants will be on hand to assist you, and to ensure you develop, learn new skills and increase your knowledge across the IT industry.
At times you will be visiting our clients on site, either assisting our Consultants or using your own initiative to resolve client incidents.
You will also be assisting our Consultants in technical builds, design, and installation of a wide variety of hardware and projects.
The role is primarily based in our Guernsey Network Operations Centre.
What are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate would either be:
• a person with 1 – 2 years of IT experience, in a Service Desk/IT Engineering or 1st\2nd Line support role.
• A person that is technically minded, has excellent customer services skills, has a good basic understanding of IT concepts and is willing and able to develop.
